Will they rub?

Just need a quick answer if anyone knows if 255/70R15 tires on all for corners of a 1965 Fullsize 88 ( no skirts ) will rub? I'm fairly sure they will fit on rears no issues, the front is the concern.
Here are the measurements if it helps...

Dia= 29.1"
Width= 10"
Circum.= 91.2
Sidewall= 7"

Any help would be appreciated.

You may want to test fit those before purchasing. On my 1966 Starfire coupe, I’m running 245/60 R15 Goodrich T/A Radials on 15x8 wheels. They fit great with no rubbing on my car, which is pretty similar to yours.

I had to go a bit narrower on my 98 with skirts. I believe they are 235/70 R15 on 15x7 or maybe 15x8. I tried to do the 245/60’s on the 98, but with my wheels the tires were just too close to the skirts to be reliable.

The 98 sits just a little higher off the ground, like you’d expect, but the only time I really notice is when I’m changing the oil. On the 98, I can just get the drain pan under it with out jacks, with the Starfire, I have to raise the car front end just a bit.

I bought the tires from Diamondback since I like the white wall feature that’s hard to find now.

That is a definite different in size for sure....

It is impossible to answer this question without knowing the offset of the wheels you are using.

Fair enough... I will have to check what they are, but I plan to use the factory15 X 6 inch steel wheels that were originally for the 1967 police package... same as the the type Aliensatemybuick had on his '65 4 speed Jetstar 1.
