Yes, in fact, I can tell you these will work on your car without issues. See - I said it. I have an innate ability (coupled with my x-ray vision) to read minds.

Ok I’m assuming this got moved, I have a 72 442 convertible with factory front disc and rear drum brakes. I assume these will bolt on with no issue but I figure I’d check here to see if anyone has used them before. Thanks for any help/info

They should fit without issue - 15x8 wheels are typically 4.5" backspace and they clear disc brakes.

My question is I'm used to seeing 15x7 wheels typically with 4" backspace - so at 4.375" I'd think they'll sit farther inside the wheel wells, making them look more recessed than they would if they sat farther out inside them. What size tires do you plan to run?

as an example on my 72 CS ragtop, I run 15x8 wheels with 4.5" BS and 245-60-R15 tires all around (for ease of rotations and spare replacement if I have a blowout). To give the rear a bit of a staggered look, I added 1" aluminum spacers to the rear hubs. Car has a great stance and all wheels still clear the fender wells without issue.

I’m not sure on tire size yet, I was also looking at the 8” rims but was worried about fitment. I’d like to go as wide as possible without having any rubbing issues and also want to keep the same tires all around as well. That is why I was wondering about those wheels, I am not sure what the “best” wheel setup is for my car.

Well 8's will fit with 4.5" bs - that's what many Cutlass owners run all around. And with the right tire size they give the car a wider stance look since they fill the wells out more. 245-60-15 is the widest you can go up front without hitting the fender wells on turns - this also assumes you have good front springs (worn ones will drop and reduce your clearance). 255 series tires can comfortably fit out back on an 8" rim as well (in my case I get pretty much the same rear effect by using the spacers, with added bonuses I mentioned above).

Those wheels will not work, the have a 5x4.5 bolt pattern, you need 5x4.75.
