wheels?

need some advice on what kinda wheels to put on my 1975 olds vert. looking to possibly go with 17x9 crager olds school wheels but am being told that they may be too wide and not to sure what size tire i should go with not wanting to modified current suspension? wheels are 17x9 5x 4.75 will they work? any ideas? thanks

The only convertible made by Olds in 1975 was the Delta 88, which used the 5 x 5" bolt circle. Look for a tire that's around 27" OD. 9" front wheels are probably too wide, but it depends on the backspacing and the actual tire size.
