Wheel restoration
Well with everyone in the house working at least half a day. I decided I had everything to respray my SSII's which were flaking in spots. So did the usual disassembly of hardware and even polished the bright work for the wheels while coats primer and paint dried.
Yes, I did not use the argent gray, but used argent silver.
I am pleased with the results!![Big Grin](https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

That is a beautiful car; nicely polished stainless trim. And you did well with the wheel color.
My wheels are about the same color. I didn't like it a first, but it pops more than argent without distracting from the car as I felt mine did when they were body color.
The color brings it midway between aftermarket aluminum wheels and the OEM wheels. It's fresh and different in a more subtle way.

Nope, martin-senior argent wheel silver. I used an adhesion promoter over the primer. Hopefully won't have to do this again. The Fusick argent gray seems very flat for a finish which is on my spare.
The silver is more glossy and seems to have a lot metal flake in it.

Paint Color
Gentlemen, I recently purchased a set of SSIV's for my 75 Delta 88 Convertible and love them but they need paint to make them a lot nicer. What would be the color I need for those wheels?? Thanks Matt
