wheel backspacing
#2
All the stock wheels will have an OFFSET of about zero. Backspacing is dependent on wheel width, offset is not, which is why I prefer to use offset. In any case, you can convert between the two. Backspace is offset plus half the wheel width plus the width of the lip on the rim. For a 6" steel rim, this is 0 offset + 3" (half the width) + about 0.25" (the approximate width of the lip), which equals about 3.25" backspace.
