Wheel Alignment

Hi Olds People,

I'm looking for some wheel alignment data for my 1952 Super 88.
I want to change the steering tie rods and after that I'd like to align everything in the right position.

so, does anybody have some data and/or advice how I can align everything?

Best regards,
Kai

All that information should be in a shop manual for your year. If you don't have one they're always on ebay

Stock was probably 0-1/2 negative caster for bias ply, but with radials and good roads 1 to 2 degrees of positive caster.
Camber set to 0
Toe set in 1/8 to 3/16ths

I've got the shop manual but there is no data in it... Just how to align.

My old Glenn's manual shows the following for 1949-53:
Caster: N3/8 degree
Camber: P1/4 degree
Steering axis inclination: 4-1/2 degrees
Toe-in: 3/32 inch
Toe-out on turns (inner wheel): 20 degrees
Toe-out on turns (outer wheel): 23 degrees

What is a Glenn's Manual?
Think I should get one too.

Thank you very much for your answer

Ok probably for bias plies and really easy steering, my post was for a radials setting.

It was an auto repair manual for American cars by Harold T. Glenn; published by Chilton Company; copyright 1960 & 1961. It is likely "out of print" for a long time. You may be able to get an old used one from Amazon or a similar place. I bought mine new in the 1960s in a bookstore.
