What size wheel?

I've got a 1969 oldsmobile cutlass I'm wanting to put so modern looking wheels like ridler or something cheaper and was wanting to know what size looks good? I was thinking maybe 18x10 in the rear and like 17x4.5 in the front how do you think that would look? If people have suggestions or even picture that would be great!

that is old school with that narrow of a front rim. I'm getting ridlers myself and I think the narrowest your going to find is 7inch. They maybe out there I just really haven't looked. The widest I have seen also is 9.5inch but once again I haven't looked. I'm going with 17x8 all the way around and stagger the tire size..

Looks are subjective. Personally I think anything bigger than 17" is getting a little too big on an older muscle car. Also not a big fan of staggard rim sizes, but these are all just personal opinions.

Go to Intro Wheels website and look through their showroom pics to give you some ideas; http://www.introwheels.com/showroom/?occur=1
