Well I could have slid into a curb in a 6 month period and bent the new axle. When he put in another bent one I think he believed that I didn't damage it. It's fixed and he did not charge me anything. Still got some vibration on the highway but it seems less. Gonna put the car on jack stands and spin the tires to make sure the axle is good but I'm sure it is. Then I'm gonna pull the U joints. While on the car they seem tight but I was told to pull them out and make sure they are not too tight and they spin ok.

Finally fixed this mess. It turned out I had 3 wheels out of balance. Possibly threw a weight or they just did a bad job to begin with. Had a different shop balance the wheels this time. Rides smooth at 80

Good to hear it's a done deal. I just had the same problem with my 07. Vibration on the highway. Took it in for wheel balance and they said all 4 wheels were out of balance. Got them all done. Took it back out for a spin on the highway yesterday. Same vibration from 50 - 70 mph. It's going back to have those wheels checked. The alignment is good, just had that done too.
