Trim ring question..

HI.. i just picked up some SSIII style wheels 5 of them.. 4 are identical.. 1 is different.. all have 15 x 7 jj and the stamp on the right side of the Valve stem is MP so I think they are 74-77 vintage wheels.. the question is with the trim rings... the set of 4 have different rings then the solo one.. The set of 4 the trim rings seem to short.. they dont go down all the way to the bottom of the tire.. there is about a 1 inch gap.. just wondering which way is correct.. also the profile of the rings is different.. the longer one seems to have like 4 different steps or changes in angle. the short ones only 3..and also the back side that holds the ring to the wheel is different... any way to know what trim rings to use ? i included some pics for your viewing pleasure... Thanks for any help.

First set of pics is the wheel with longer trim ring.. second set is the shorter.

X2. In any event, they are not correct for SSII/III wheels.

The second set are aftermarket trim rings. GM never used that type of mounting clips.

Are. 1970 SSI's of any value? I have a set I bought for my car years ago. The trim ring that came with them didn't fit. Come to find out thete for the 15 inch so the fit my new rims. So that problem solved. Lol. Now I have some 70 SSI's to get rid of I guess.
