Fyi

15 x 7 with 4.25" BS front with 235 60 15 and 15 x 8 with 4.5" BS out back with 255 60 15s. No rubbing & great stance.

Steel wheels are stronger, however both are extremely durable and safe. It boils down to personal preference and the quality of the wheel you buy.

Also who has the best price for ss1 rims?

There are a couple of companies that reproduce them and there is a supply of used wheels on the market. I suggest you get at least a 15 inch wheel as the supply of tires available for the 14's are limited in size.

There are many places to buy tires, I use discount tire as they allow me to bring in different sizes of wheels and tires to size and fit. Their pricing has always been competitive and their customer service is beyond reproach.

15x7 or 15x8 for a 68 olds 442

You can put almost any width tire you want on a 15x7 wheel all the way around. Most use them on the fronts with a 15x8 in the rear. Just watch your back spacing.

You can go with a 275-60-15 in the rear with a 7 inch wheel and with an 8 inch you have to stick with 4.5 inch back spacing to run the same tire. The sizes that Dave recommends look great and are a good way to go, "15 x 7 with 4.25" BS front with 235 60 15 and 15 x 8 with 4.5" BS out back with 255 60 15s. No rubbing & great stance."

Are you sure these wheels are AL?. SS1 rims OEM & repo are steel.

I've actually seen those wheels at a local car show. He had 15x7 in front and 15x8 in the back. Looked good for an aftermarket knock off. Don't know where he got them though.

My 2 cents

100% chineesium I am sure. Build quality TBA.
