Resto rims

Do any companies re-pop Olds SSI & SSII rims in 14" & 15" and did the SSI originally come with a trim ring and painted spokes rather than chrome? I understand the 69 Hurst Olds wheel to be unique but what about the others?

Check out http://www.specialtywheel.com/wheel-...olds-ssii.html

They also sell some other Olds ralleys, made in USA. Just got a set of SSII's today in 15x7 along with new lugs and center caps.

Thanks for the lead. Look like nice stuff. I was going to upgrade to 15" but wondering if I should go 15x7 or 15x8? Good luck with the wheels.

if I was going to buy new repos I'd buy the 15x8 for the back and 15x7 for the front, original SSIIs that are 15 inch with bolt on center cap are 15 x 7

'70 SSIs were 14" x 7" with a separate trim ring. Before that, they were "all chrome". Personally, if I wanted an "original" wheel, I'd get an original wheel. Anything else, especially if it is bigger, is a "custom" wheel.
