Do these Olds rally wheels also come in 15 x 8 the same style, or was 15 x 7 the largest?

 

15 x7 was the largest that Olds offered.

 

I just looked at these on the Wheel Vintiques website. They have them in chrome (so you wouldn't need trim rings or bezels). Available in 15x7, 15x8 and 15x10 all with specified backspacing if you want to go large

Thanks for the info. I'm pondering my options, and this car sits higher in the back than I like. I was considering slightly lower but wider rear tires. If I get too wide on the tires the sidewalls will really pinch in. My fronts are 215 70 15. Not sure how wide I can go on the back with my rims. Maybe 265 60 15 would fit? Without the sidewalls going horizontal?

 

Just depends on the look you're after. Not a fan of horizontal spill out unless it's a track car. Also need to make sure your suspension isn't going to hit the wheel openings. Are you tubbing this?

 

No tubbing, just trying to make it look sort of normal with what I have at hand. Thus the tail pipes sticking out in front of the tires.
The car is so high with really beefy suspension, and I think it looks odd with the height and thin rear tires. I went from rear 215/70/15 to 225/70/15 as one of my tires was a mismatch and leaked anyway. The look is not bad from the side, but sort of strange from behind.
Maybe it's all in my mind.

 

It probably wouldn't be so bad to go with up to 245/70/15's on the back and 235's on the front? I think 265 is too much for that car. Just my opinion though.

 

You could be right. I'll carry on working bugs out of this thing and ponder the tires a while.
