Rally wheel color

What color were 72 Ralley wheels if they were not color coded to the same paint color as the car? I have seen dark silver and regular light silver. Which is correct?

I think they were all color coded to the car color in 1972.

Speaking of ralleys, what was the option for '72, SSII's, or SSIII's?

I'm not sure? This car has 14'' wheels with the screw on center caps. I have a set of 15' rally wheels from a 76 cutlass that I am painting and use on the 72.

The 14" ralleys with the screw on center cap are correct for the 72 Cutlass and through 1974. The later ralleys have a pop in center cap held by springs and are very similiar but are not correct for a 72.

Are the 72 rims 6" or 7" wide?
