What do they mean by added and donor tire brand may change?

The Whitewall is added onto a donor tire. The actual brand of the donor tire may vary from time to time due to stock changes and availability.
Picture shown is not the actual tire. Picture is an example only. Actual Whitewall size may vary. Price displayed is for 1 (one) tire. Change quantity to 4 (four) to order a set. This is for tires only, any wheel pictured is NOT included.
Choose a whitewall size below. Note, we do not and can not make white walls from the sidewall edge-to-edge. Contact us if you need something different. All finish sizes will be close to actual material size or can be approx 1/4" (0.25") bigger. By purchasing this tire, you are accepting and agreeing to all Terms and Conditions as posted on this web site. Tires will be shipped with a Blue coating to protect the whitewall during transport. This blue coating should be washed off after installation. All tires are made to order. Please allow 5-7 working days for the whitewall tire to be made and shipped.

They are using whatever cheap donor tire they can get. The Chinese supply changes all the time.

 

Kinda reminds me of Diamondback tires. They take any donor tire you want and add a white wall stripe in whatever size you request. When the customer doesn't specify a specific brand tire they have the leeway to use the least expense available, even trailer tires.

 

Diamondback was very upfront with me about the brand of tires they use. They have multiple models and will tell you what carcass they use for each one.
