olds/buick ss1 wheels?
olds/buick ss1 wheels?
is it me, or are the olds SS1's wheels the same as Buick sport wheels ? I keep looking and the more I look, the more they look pretty darn close? will the olds caps fit?
Different than what car?!?!? An 87 Regal has the exact same bolt pattern as any 1970 A body. 5 x 4 3/4.
Look at them side by side - they're not the same other than the fact that they're both round and have five spokes. The spoke sections have very different contours - Buick rims are concave (curving in like a bowl) and Olds SSIs are convex (bulging outward).

This is a common but incorrect assumption by people who have not seen the two wheels side-by-side. The SSI wheels are the same center stamping as the Magnum 500 wheels. The Buicks are unique and use thinner spokes that are actually concave. Use Google Images to compare the two side-by-side.
