Looking to put a set of aluminum Trans Am WS6 wheels on a 67 A body. No fitment issues as to height or offset, my problem is finding a proper lugnut. The originals to the wheels are metric and the studs of course are not (7/16-20) Any ideas? Has to be a certain degree of taper to fit properly. Here are pictures of the wheels if anyone recognizes them. Thanks.

 

I don't see an issue using an sae lug nut as long as the beveled face of the nut seats against the wheel and there are enough threads engaging inside so that the proper applied torque can be applied without stripping.

 

McGard #64001 or 64011 should work fine. The angle is pretty standard

 

The angle is standard, but the height of the cone is not. The aluminum wheels with taper seat lugs require lugs with a taller taper than those for steel wheels. Using the smaller taper lug nuts will allow the nuts to loosen and damage the wheels.
