Happy July everyone, I am a newbie from KY looking for tires for my 68 Delta Custom that I have for sale. Any help would be much obliged.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome, the car looks very nice. I drove one like it as a work car for several years. I love the 4 door hardtop lines. I would think tires would be as easy as a Costco or Sams club visit unless they have been phased out in your neck of the woods.

Post your selling details and more pics in the cars for sale section.

What exactly are you looking for in tires? The stock tires were 8.55x14 bias ply, which were just under 28" in diameter. I assume you have 14" wheels? If so, tire selection will be limited unless you want to spend big bucks on repro bias ply tires. The closest radial tire to your original size would be 235/75-14. Unfortunately, the only ones I can find are from specialty vendors like Coker and Lucas, and run about $300 each and up. 225/75-14s used to be commonly available, but I can't find them anywhere today except again from the repro vendors like Coker, for about $240 each. I guess the tallest commonly available tire you can get at a reasonable price today is a 225/70-14, which is offered by a lot of vendors, but those are over 1.5" smaller in diameter than original.

tires for 14 in rims

When I restored my 1968 Olds 98 I moved up to 15x7 rims as on 1970 full-size , then 235/75/15 radials readily available in proper whitewall size much cheaper
Brand new wheels from SpeedwayMotors 15x7, 5x5 spacing are perfect fit. Then 15 in hubcaps again readily available
