I bought my 71' Cutlass Supreme at an auction about 3 months ago. It wasn't until just the other day that I realized, I didn't get the locking lug nut key with the car. So, I am in the process of trying to find one that will fit the pattern and don't know where to start. Does anyone recognize the pattern in the picture or know where I can buy a key for it?

I assumed you scoured the trunk, spare tire area, and glove box...
Have you tried contacting the auction manager? Best to start there and see if you can somehow get in contact with the original owner, who hopefully still has it.

Unfortunately, I did check everywhere in the car and no dice. I do have the contact info to the previous owner and have talked to him before but I am fairly certain he doesn’t have them…but worth another call.

 

Or, take an impact socket, [just a little smaller] hammer it on with a BFH, and remove with a impact gun!
I've also split them with a air chisel.

 

Most tire shops have the tool on hand to break those off.

 

I would try my impact on them but I don't want to damage them so bad no one can get them off. I might just have to take it up to a tire shop and see if they can get them off and then I'll just buy all new lugs. Thanks for the help!!

I found mine which is slightly different under front seats. Right away didnt know I would need it, but for some reason kept it anyway.

 

I work for a car dealer and when ever we get those locks without the keys we take one of those sockets for removing stripped nuts, put that on the end of an impact and zip them right off.

 

I think that will be your best bet too. If you don't have the key, what good are they? neither a thief nor you can get them off, and that would bite big time should you need to change a tire.

These look like McGards. They're cheap enough that if you want locking lugs, it's easier to buy a new set than to fight with finding a key.
