Very cool letter or is it what we would call today an 'Internal Memo'? Sounds like a bidding war on wheel tire/rubber parts.

I thought that too when I first read it. But if you put it into perspective? They were probably proportionately as expensive as today's rubber, in relation to the rest of the car.

I have been in different places with these samples, I figured since this was tires and wheels, so do like the Romans. I'll post the next one in other tab today!
