I wouldn't pay anything for a set of 3 rims unless you had an identical 4th that you could use.

Also, the center caps looks like they're missing off 2 of the rims.

I picked up a set of rims off a guy in ottawa on pretty new tires for 250. I think 300 is a tad steep for what he's got.

Just my 0.02$

I just looked at Coker for a reference, a brand new 14x7 chrome rim is 146$.

Honestly, if they were mint condition, i'd be willing to pay 300 for 4. But this guy is clearly just trying to offload them for a high price. I'd keep my eye out on craigslist or maybe talk to some members in the hamilton/TO area.

Thanks Tony,

I have seen a guy in Hamilton with lots of Cutlass rims and the prices seem fair. It's just a matter of getting out there to see them. Plus I would really like to go 15" and most of the ones I find are 14"

I agree with ya, what i ended up finding was 14'' rims off an '83 hurst-olds.

I also recently bought some 225/70 R14 tires that look really sharp.

Here is a set of 5 nice rims for 250.

Sure, they're 14x7. but if you went 15x7 that'd be only a 1/2'' bigger on either side of the diameter.

Call the guy and ask if he'll knock off a couple bucks in gas for you to drive down there. I'm sure you'll get the sale if you roll down in your Olds.

lol I wish I could but it's not quite on the road yet...that's why I'm not really in a rush to get the new wheels but if something really nice came along then by all means I will get them. I am hoping to be able to get down there in the next week or so. I know they have been for sale for awhile now and he does have more.

Only if they are '86-87 442's, as these are bolt on centers, the rocket emblem is correct.

Nice find Tony. Xombie - you gonna buy those? Just the bolt on caps are worth over 160 if they are in really good shape. Those are really nice rims just waiting for rubber. BTW you know that the 15" wheels have exactly the same bolt pattern as the 14's.

Yup, they are a nice combo. Tony, I don't know if anyone ever mentioned or if you read up on this or not. The SS wheels have a shorter hook that uses a special nut to secure them in the trunk. Also for the jack handle, there are 2 clips you can rivet or weld to the inside of the raised trunk floor to secure it? Just info for you as I noticed there's nothing holding your spare.

What's that tire sticker still doing on the tire??? Most shops will take them off as soon as the tire is mounted and balanced.

You are correct for the above pics! But I was going by the original post picture of the Gold wheels which show snap in caps and would be from 85-87 442's

Yes, they are the same bolt pattern but they are the wrong diameter for a Delta 88. You need 15". Not sure but I think 15" are spec'd to clear the brake calipers.

I ended up buying a hook at the hardware store and cutting it to fit. it actually shows in the picture (the little silver thing pointing up at around 4:00.)

I actually asked the shop to keep the tire sticker on the tire so that i could prove it was a brand new tire when i did the provincial mechanical inspection.
