good price??
good price??
i found i guy who is selling a 71 442, non numbers matching, needs a little trans work but he is sending a good muncie 4 speed w/ bell housing etc. w/ it. the body and interior are very very nice and it's an a/c car but the a/c doesnt blow. he's asking 9000, is that a good ball park price? i'm not much of an olds guy, i dont know much about their values, i know that low NADA guide price is like 14500ish in my area, but obviously thats numbers matching etc...i was just wondering if 9000 sounded like a decent price? thanks
It doesn't seem too bad from what you are saying,a bit strong, but I'm a tight wad. So anything over a few grand sounds strong to me. Are you wanting to drive it or make money off it? I was talking to a member from texas a few months ago. I don't recall if we were talking cutlasses or 442's but $3000 down there would get you a nice example. You may wait a bit and do some more looking. transportation will add to the purchase price, but not 6k worth. Depends on what you want, and how fast you want it. you are probably spot on for a car like that here in WI. maybe a bit tall
