Factory SS wheels size 15" by?

My Cutlass has the fancy Stamped steel olds wheels in 15" .
Looking at tires, I'm assuming they are 7" wide.
Am I correct on this?
The wheels are the same design as the photo in my avatar.
The p/o put very narrow and short tires on this car that his wife drove they look lost in the wheel wells.
Thanks for answering another stupid question. I tried the search, but I suck at that, and computers . Learning as I go.

Yes, the 15" SSII (argent) and SSIII (body color) wheels are 7" wide.

Thank you. Guess mine are the SSIII as they are the same color as the vinyl top, but not the body.
No idea if they are stock or added later by the gentalman I bought it from .
I'd assume the 2 door bucket seat console salon would have come with them, but not sure. Maybe it was an extra cost option. no idea, and no idea how to ever find out.

Some other car's SSIIIs perhaps. Or they got painted the top color. It's not important if you like the look.

People waste a lot of time worrying about SS II vs SS III. They are exactly the same wheels. Only the paint color is different. Yes, the factory ones are all 7" wide. I've run 255/60-15s on them with no issues.

I'm just glad mine are the 15" wheels and not the 14" ones. !4" tires are now very limited. I had no idea there was a name difference. Seems many care if the center cap are bolt on or snap/push on. No Idea why that matters but I'm sure it does in some way.
My tires are old 1989 and 1990 date code and one already had the steel belt strains starting to come through the sidewall. so they need to go. I won't be driving it till I get new tires. I'll go wider that works on a 7" wheel and try to keep the oem tire height if I can ever find that spec. I haven't yet. No idea what sized tires were stock on a '75 salon other than they sized them by letters not the metric sizing of today.

People care about bolt-on vs snap-on because the bolt-on style were used on the 1968-74 cars.
The OEM tires on a 75 Salon were GR78x15. Those would have been 27.68" outside diameter and 8.05" section width. The closest readily available tire size today would be 235/70-15, which are 27.95" outside diameter and 9.25" section width. The alternative would be 225/70-15, which are 27.40" OD and 8.86" section width.
