I'm not yet sure where this one's leaking from but I'm thinking valve stem area as that's where the others went. The leaky one on our Mazda SUV has already been repaired on warranty once but continues to leak.
Valve stems are not integral to the tire. I have about 10k miles on them.

That is dedication man! Some folks buy TAs that have had the letters removed and redlines vulcanized on! If my car was ‘68 or earlier, I’d consider it
Our 1969 Camaro is needing a new set of white letter tires. I have used Cooper Cobras for my 1972 Cutlass S and now a set is currently on my 1979 Hurst Olds. As much as I wanted Coopers on the Camaro, I'm going to have to go to BFG's since I really need to be putting a 205 series on the Camaro (it's a 6 cylinder). Anything more than that is just too much tire. The thinnest tire Cooper has in a 14 is 215. Too bad.

While I'm piecing the history of this Hurst Olds together, I'm learning it was painted in 99, and had a chassis refurb later on. Not much else, it seems to have sat in collections or museums like the one I bought it from. Buying a car that sits on display a lot has its own challenges. These BFGs look great on the front side, but the bad side is dirty from years, and the three digit tire code of 397 means these rubbers are 23 years old, and it is time for new tires! (I knew they were old, but not THAT old.)
Will probably replace the BFGs with new BFGs. The 225 70 R14 looks good on the car and I will continue with that size. My rims are in good, but not flawless shape, so I will put the car on other wheels and mounted tires I have, take these loose, pull center cap and beauty ring, and I think I can leave the opening trapezoids trims on and I will follow the advice of a buddy of mine, which is go to the tire place in the black part of town with dub wheels in the window and they will have the best tire machine in town (see below for Evansville's version), so I'll go there with new tires and loose rims.
Can you put weights on the front on an SSII and have the trim ring work, or should they all be on the back side?
