I am in the market for a new set of tires for the 71. I'm looking at 255/60R15's like I had before. Question is are the MT Sportman ST's a better tire than the BFG Radial TA's? Are they are more modern designed tire compared to the BFG's? Any input would be great.

IMHO, I think they are close to the same. Maybe a hair softer compound.

 

I have the Mickey Thompson radials & love them. IMO better tire than the BFG.

 

I agree, I think MT is a better.
