Color opinion requested
I am preparing Daisy (my "68 Cutlass S) for paint , The hood and trunk lid are to be dark grey , with the remainder of the car to be a light blue that is very close to Island Teal that was the original color . Sort of a Hurst/Olds look .
My plan all along has been to run Torque Thrust wheels painted the same color grey as hood /trunk in the center , But it seems every other car I see has TQs on them .
So new plan ,
Poverty caps !
And heres where I'm torn , I still think the Grey wheels are the way to go . But looking at pictures of the Olds from the area , the main body color might be the way to go .
What do y'all think ?
Wheels are preped , and ready to paint this weekend if I get time

If you want those small caps to pop then you need the contrast of a dark wheel. I always liked that look with body color wheels. I believe this is the way they came from the factory too.

Ugh no poverty capsIMO. Ss1 ss2 ss3 Ctr lines torque thrusts anything but the PC...there's a reason you see a lot of TT variations..their awesome!
If your getting new rims and tires nothing looks better than some modern 17" or18" SS 1s

Beings you are "stepping out" a bit with your car, I like the idea of being able to see those poverty caps. And, to see them, the dark color on your wheels would make them highly visible. Also, since most people (and the factory) painted their wheels the body color, the fact that you used the dark grey also makes a statement that yours is just a little bit different. I like that!
