Bias Look radials

I've seen period correct looking wide white wall tires that look like Bias tire but are Radials.

I wonder about the ride quality. Anyone run these tires. if so what do you think about them?

A friend of mine has a set on his 59 Ford retractable. He got them from Universal Tire at last Fall Carlisle. He had a problem with one of them being out of round. He brought it back as the following Spring Carlisle and despite the fact that he didn't have the receipt, they found him in their records from the tire serial number and replaced it for free. Outstanding service and he's happy with the tires (well, at least as happy as he can be until he rebuilds the front end... ).

Did you friend ever comment on the ride he got from those tires?

Well, much better than the ancient bias plies that were on there.

You can PM a quote. I have OEM wheels on the car. I won't be changing them until winter as i intend to powder coat the wheels while the car is stored. If I have a price I'll consider it. If not, I'll most like just order online from Coker. I'm not one to waste too much time shopping to save a few pennies.
