BF Radial TA verse Cooper Cobra

It is about time (due to age) for me to replace my several year old Radial TA's. I have seen a lot of bad reviews on the Radial TA's lettering turning brown quickly. Debating on keeping the same brand or going over to the Cooper Cobra's.

Any thoughts/opinions/experience on either?

to my knowledge BFG's still having browning issues - my last set from 2 years or so ago turned brown after 6 months and newer sets appear to be hit or miss.

Both Cooper and BFG are old tech as far as tread pattern so I opted to swap out to 17" wheels and tires about 2 months ago. 17" tires offer many more brand choices and newer treat pattern tech, much happier I went that route,

Well, the only "new tech" I need on a 53 year old muscle car is something to keep the white letters from going brown. I've had it with BFG. Next time I'm trying the Cobras. For now, I'll turn the tires inside out. The blackwall look beats brown letters.

I prefer the Mickey Thompson’s over both Cooper and the BF Goodrich. Cooper makes the MTs.

I went from BFG's to Coopers just from people around my car community complaining about the dingy white letters.

I went with the Coopers this go around with black side out. I like the look and the tires perform as expected for the last 3+ years.

I'm on a about three years as well with cooper cobras. I've got no complaints with them.

I have two sets of the Cooper Cobras and minus normal tire cleaning, they stay white for me.

Coopers all the way for sure. With minimal cleaning those letters stay white. Plus IMHO they have a better retro look than the BFG white letters.

Coopers

My BFGs aged out and I just swapped them to Cooper Cobras. My 10 year old BFGs never has the discoloration issue, but they were always terrible in wet conditions.

The Cobras were cheaper, and I figure they could not be worse than the BFGs. Time will tell. They look really good installed.
