Stock spoke hubcaps look fine but i need something that says american muscle in a tasteful way. Crager S&S? Keystone Klassic? True wire spoke? Also, can I run a staggered look? I like the Foose Legends in grey or the AR torq in anthracite. Let's play!
Here's my ride!

Clean car! Whats the plan with the rest of the car? You should tie the wheels you select with the theme of the car.
I'll keep her engine stock for now. With only 50k on the odometer, there's plenty of life left to pull out of this 307. I've learned alot lurking on the sites but now it's time to jump in the game. Wheels are an easy change to tide me over but the theme is "1987 is the new 1967". So the wheels will help create a classic, muscular line and should serve me well when the (eventual) new engine mods make this beauty perform up to her image.
The trouble is the unique factory paint and pin striping scheme begs to remain a "Luxury liner" and it's so very pretty that aluminum slots or soft 8's simply won't do.
I respect your opinion and am here to learn.

Thank you! I think the Keystones would look very pretty in a muscular way. And the Crager SS I could put on a turd and it would still look sharp. What are my sizing options? I'd like some beef in the back but balanced, not overpowering. I've heard that some sizes in wheels offer only limited numbers of tires while other sizes might rub the well.
I'd like the folks who might regularly attend the shows to say,"Yep, he nailed that look!".
(Whatever "That look IS!")
I'm searching the net for pics and knowledge...

If you want just a basic clean look these are what I would put on it. Run a 235-60 up front and a 255-60 in the rear fro a great looking conservative fitment.

I am not a big fan of Cragar SS wheels on G-bodies.

Straight line street cruiser for now until I can decide for myself what I'm after. I did just get done rebuilding my '76 FLH so there is a garage-void in my life right now.
So the answer to your question is "Nothing planned, but I'm open to suggestion".
Here's the Van. So many people stop me to talk about it, it's unreal.

I'm comming to that conclusion myself. Keystones are finding themselves at the top of my list, however, because like the 442 rims, they are "subtle muscle".
But i've made no decision yet. and am still open to suggestion.
You might also consider a set of SS rims. These were the stock Oldsmobile rims for the Cultass from the late 60s all the way until the early 80s. I don't know if they were offered in 1987, but I'm sure you could find some that would fit your car. Then you could paint or powder coat them whatever color you wanted.
Far out!! I've been eyeballing these 442 wheels today! Can the different size tires fit on the same rims and still be symmetrically bulged or will I need to find a wider rear wheel? 15" right?

I used to have that combo with 7" wheels on a 78' Malibu. I will try to dig up pics tonight.

OK, enough puns, good info to know.
This is a 78 A-body which is a simlar size and shape to your Gbody
Business dress code 15 x 4 on 165-15 and 15 x 8 with 28 x 9 M/T slicks
Casual dress code 15 x 7 all the way around with 235 -60 front and 255-60 rear. I thought I had some better pics of it but I am not finding them.

That is some pro-street beauty you got there. I will adopt those measurements with abundant reverence. Thank you!
I do not want a 442 clone so i have decided against the stock 87 442 wheels. Still liking a mag style though. What would a 442 owner have upgraded to??
