68 ssii

Am I correct in these statements?

400422 wheel, stamped at least partially with 2 LS is the SSII wheel for 68 and 69.
The same bolt on center cap was used for all bolt on SSII throughout the run from 68 to whenever it went snap on around 75 or so.
The 68 trim ring is one year only with a brushed finish.
The wheel in 68 and 69 is the same part, but the rim was painted silver in 68 around the trapezoidal holes and the clip on trims started in 69 for the trapezoidal holes with no silver paint under them.

SSI question.
The 66-67 SSI built out, and some were used on 68 cars early until the SSIIs were made. The 69 disc brake SSIs happened later, but there was a period in most of 68 with no SSI orderable.

Thanks. I'd seen the first one.

The second one is good new info for me.

Background on this question is, the H/O I recently acquired has a great set of restored 68 SSIIs on it, complete, no issue. I also bought a set of 4 original paint SSIIs from 68 that are very nice. I will put a radial something on the car's wheels upon which it will sit. I may tool this extra set up with some correct biased repros if I go to a serious show. To that point, I need center caps, which I think are the entire run of bolt on SSIIs, 68 only trim rings, and a fifth wheel for the spare, which can either be a correctly painted 68 wheel, or a 69 wheel that I repaint back to 68 paint. I think that's correct. For a less stretch target, I could always move the center caps and trim rings, but I hate messing with those rings more than necessary.
