Is the 57 Olds 88 wheel and 64 Olds Starfire wheel the same ? What years were wheels the same ? I realized I need 1 each for my cars in progress.

 

The bolt pattern on both is 5 x 5". I don't know if the center hole is the same or not, but I suspect it is the same. Both will be just about zero offset. I don't know about the specifics of width or contour for hubcap fitment, however.

 

Joe, Thanks. I hated to "assume". The wheels and tires will be in the trunk as a "spare". I was hoping the "full size" Olds wheels would have "commonality".

 

The '57 wheels have three sets of two slots to install the clips that hold the hub cap on if you don't use wheel discs. 15 X 6.

 

These will be for a spare tire. I'll use 14" wheels and tires. 9.00 X 14's coming for the Starfire are on their way. Tires on the Starfire will go on the 57 because they hold air.
