255/60-15 Tires

Will 255/60-15 tires on factory 15x7 SS-II rims fit all the way around on a '70 442 without rubbing?

Yes from my experience. I run them on my 15x7 SSIII's. No rubbing I can tell unless its on my bigger front sway bar at full lock. Haven't driven car much since rebuilding suspension.

I've got BFG 255/60-15s on the factory SSII wheels on my 69 H/O. I get a very slight rub when I hit a bump with the wheels at full lock, like when turning into a driveway. Otherwise, no issues whatsoever.

Thank you for the responses. I will go with the 255/60-15 tires all the way around. According to conversion charts I've seen, the 255 tires are suppose to be equivalent to G60-15 tires, the size Oldsmobile was going to install as an option on the '70 442 & Cutlass, before it was cancelled for some unknown reason.
