1967 Cutlass Supreme 15" or 16" rims

Looking for advice on a new setup for my CS. I have the original 205/75R/14 setup, but I would like to go larger rim, and wider foot print. At least a 15" rim, but if possible, I would like to go 16".

I've seen posts from members regarding a 275/60/15 15x8 setup. I'm curious how that looks, as well as the clearance?

Does anyone have a 16" setup? If so, what are you running?

Thanks,
Jim

P275-60-15's rear, P225-70-15's front. Rear wheels are 15x8.5, fronts are 15x6, American Racing torq thrust D.

I had 275/60's on mine when i first bought it, i sold them and went with 255/60 in the back 235/60 on the front.

Wheels are 15x8 front and rear with 4.25back spacing

First photo attached is a current pic of mine, not the best showing off the tires though. I'll see if i can find the older pic with the larger rear tires.

Second one is a friend of mines '66, he has reproduction SS1's- 15x8 4.5backspacing. Tires are 235/60 front & rear.

I based my choice on what Eric had done to his car. I used the variable rate station wagon rear springs and put 255/60R15 on the back with 15x8 zero offset Cragars and 215/70R15 on 15x7 zero offset on the front.
