18s on my 70 cutlass.

I had to send my rallyes to get rechromed so I ended up using the wheels off of my Chevelle, it's in the body shop so it doesn't need them right now.
They are torq thrust polished, 18x10 305/40 for the rear and 18x8 245/45 for the front. On the Chevelle the rear wheels are extremely tight fit, 1/2" either way and it will rub, on the cutlass there is so much room I could easily run 18x11 with 325/40 tire.

I love the way my rallyes look (15x10/15x8), but these are really growing on me.

I think they look really sharp on it! Leave them on if you can.

Yep. I would find new rims for the Chevelle and keep those on the Cutlass!

Looks good! I have had 17x11 TTII's with 315-35's on the rear of my 72 442 since 2005. The 70-72 Cutlass has a larger rear fender well than any other A-body.

If I still had my 442 I would have come up that way and hung out or something. I was up that way this morning running errands.

They really set your car off !! Much better than the original rally rims IMO. Maybe because I'm a Cragar guy but I would leave them on as well.

Thank you for the kind words.

I'm thinking about getting a set for the Cutlass, may go with 18x11 for the rear.

Man my car is basically a copy of yours.....and I'm usually the one who dislikes anything that isn't stock as far as wheels.....but that looks REALLY GOOD!!!!! I'm also digging how it looks without the factory molding on the rear quarters.....but still on the rest of the car! Sharp ride!!!!

Thank you guys.
Honestly I thought I was gonna get roasted for having big wheels, which in reality are not all that big since most (V8) cars now days come with 20" wheels from the factory.

Looks great, especially how it sits down on them without a lot of daylight between the tires and wheel wells.

Looks great! Wish I could confidently go to a 305 in the back, but the 68/69 cars have tighter wheel openings.

Looks sweet, I am deciding on a new set of shoes for my 1970 S. What wheel offset are those front and rear?

Thanks
Mark

I like the look, did you lower your cutlass? they say when someone copies you , it's a form of flattery , I would like to copy that look, on my 70 cutlass, if you don't mind! is there any back spacing ? if so do you know how much?

Thank you guys.
The rear is lowered 2" with BMR springs, in the front I have QA1 coilovers so I'm not sure how much its lowered, probably around 2.5" drop.
Wheel and tires are
Rear 18x10 5.75" Backspacing 305/40
Front 18x8 4.5 BS 245/45 tire
Everything fits fine with room to spare.

They look really good. I went with 17's. It did take a while to get used too after the rally wheels but I really like them now.
