How Does the Vista Look Now?

It's pumpkin pickin' and mum plantin' time of year again! So I put new axle bearings in and decided to paint the R coded rims I had originally to match the car, then added my '65 doggies.....more pics with the corn stalks on the roof rack and pumpkins and mums loaded in back this weekend!

In this last pic, I tried to get a shot of the duals with the '65 442 boxed lowers and sway bar....

Very clean looking car! Yes, the redlines would look cool. I also remember seeing an old set of blue line tires, not on a car, either my grandpa or uncle had on a blue car one of them had. I did not see them on the car but my dad said they looked pretty cool.

GREAT lookin' VC, Erik! That's the one we saw at the Massachusetts OCA Nationals, by the lake, isn't it? You and your very photogenic Family. Lovely wife, and two gorgeous daughters. How old are the little ones, now?

I opened it up, spun the housing 180*, and screwed it to the bottom of the dash. I can always weld the holes up and repaint it if I want to return it to stock.

Yes, I need a good straight core. I looked to straighten it a bit, but it is actually cracked below the plate....

Yes, the car had 56k mi on it when I bought it 9 years ago....now has 64k. I polished the chrome and trim on the dash when I got it, and haven't touched it since.....I used Crest Toothpaste with Baking Soda.....
