U code? If so, the car maybe 5k, look for rust around the side windows and roof, I spent a ton on one, and finally sold it.

In June, NADA values for a Vista with 455 and air were...
$19,200 low retail
$37,500 average retail
$70,900 high retail

Those look high, but I insured mine for $50,000 and Hagerty didn't blink.

Wow those prices seem crazy high. 20k for low retail? Up from there? Wow.

Those are more traditional valuations for a Vista. However, keep in mind that a 455 with air conditioning is worth 20% more than those values, which are for a base vehicle (350 2-bbl, no air).

I bought my rusty Crusty 71 for $1500.
Rust-free car would be worth a lot more, but this one has a 455 and A/C, and ran, and I've been wanting to learn to do bodywork, so this was a cheap canvas to start on.
Main plus's for me was Vista glass was all there, and tailgate was in great shape, and rear window even worked.
The rust-free tailgate, and the unbroken Vista glass is worth what I paid for the whole car. LOL
