Does anyone know if the 70-72 wagon taillight housings will bolt onto a 68-69 wagon? I have a 69 Cutlass wagon and have been looking for replacement lenses for a while now with no luck. My originals are hazed and cracked to the point it is unsafe to drive. From pictures that i have seen on ebay they look to be interchangeable with the exception of not having backup lights. This will be temporary as i do want the originals eventually but want to drive my car this summer and be safe. If anyone knows or has a set of each that they could try to interchange to check fitment it would be appreciated. I also have an extra set of 68-69 housings if someone in the NE Ohio area has a 70-72 I could come try it on.

I am fairly certain that with the exception of backup lights, they are the same. Maybe someone on this forum has a correct pair of '68-9 lenses that they could remedy your issue.
