I moved your post because I think your car deserves it's own thread. Good luck with it.

Greg, it may have nose parts from a 1964. The side trim is 1965 but the grill is a 1964. I can't tell from the photos if the fenders are 64 or 65. The tail gate trim is the same on both years.

Still a very nice car! John

Definitely a 65 with a 64 front clip.
64 tailgate didn't have the rocket symbol or the Vista Cruiser script.
Also the OLDSMOBILE letters were below the rear window switch bezel.
The long trim pieces are identical to the 64.
The dash in the 64 is all black.
Just my observation.
Ron

Yes Sven. A '65 with a '64 front clip. You are also missing some tailgate trim. Looks like a VC Custom by the door panels. Seat cover not original. I have a rear bumper much nicer than that, but not perfect. Could get pricey to ship to Germany though.

You are also missing some tailgate trim.

The long thin chrome piece above the electric window switch bezel. Don't see any mounting holes though, unless for some weird reason they were filled in or I'm blind.
