Does anyone make new support cables for the tailgate of the dual action tailgate? Not sure if the same are used on the single action tailgate it not. Or is there a replacement that could be used from a newer truck? Mine broke and don't really want to buy a used one that could be just as rusted/rotted as mine was.

It's the same as an El Camino, 68-72. These are available from various resto parts suppliers like opgi, eckkers etc.
