Hi from FL

I've been lurking for a while, but was reminded of the forum just recently so I decided to post something in the Wagons section. Turns out that was my first post, so I'm back here to introduce myself...

I'm pretty new to Olds cars, but have been a big fan of the Vista Cruisers since I first saw them. Always a wagon fan first, but I've been mostly into Pontiacs as of late. However, I did find a great deal on a 70 VC and it will be in the family for a long time now, hopefully. It's a work in progress, but looks pretty good from 20 ft and runs decent. Just needs some finishing touches. But I drive it everyday almost, so it's not easy.

I'm in central FL, which is at the moment frozen (40 degrees), but will usually be complaining about the heat and humidity since the A/C is a ways down on my priority list...

I'm new here too and also from central Fl. Nice cars - I love the wagons! I think I have seen your 67 before on the Performance Years site. I would love to have a VC or Lemans wagon to cruise around in.

Really like that VC, and welcome to CO. Great folks here, all willing to help out, and occassionally throw in a joke or three! It was 16 this AM in Dallas, and forecasted 12 Saturday AM. At least the wind quit blowing so hard.

Nice, I like the green. Also, it looks like late model GTO seats inside. If I only had money and a place to park it

You can never have too many Pontiacs or Oldsmobiles!

Question

Hey Teej!!!!

It is you isn't it?

You have twins named after Ryan O'Neal's kids?

Allan here if it is you.

How's that 455 Vista doing.

Been awhile since the Vista cruiser site went defunct.
Hope everything's been going good.

Hang around, we have fun here and some guys really know their stuff, present company excluded.
Just watch out for that Cutlassgirl Sandy and Jamesbo.

She likes green and Jamesbo likes any '69 Olds A-Body and good food.

Welcome to CO

Nice looking familiy of wagons. Of course I think the VC is the best, but I like the 58 chebby as well. Cold for you gus down south. 50 degrees here in the Pacific Northwest, a little rain sure, but I'll take the rain over the cold any day.

Look again... One Olds, and two Pontiacs, no Chebbys.

Hey Allen,

Yep, it's me...(I'd make a lousy spy I guess...) Good to hear from you.
The Vista is my daily driver these days and doing fine. Mostly cosmetic and comfort stuff that needs work, but I will be needing some new rear suspension parts pretty soon. Those springs are starting to sag and the air shocks aren't cutting it...

And for the record, while my twins do share names with the O'Neals, it is not their namesake.... And I'll get my Dad (AKA Tatum) to come kick your butt if you don't believe me...Ha Ha

How's things on your end? Drop me an e-mail sometime..
