Did anyone try and use a DIY kit like Pypes for your wagon?
It's no different than any other A-body. You just need to weld in a 4" long extension on each exhaust pipe due to the 116" wheelbase. Coupe tail pipes will be a problem for two reasons, first the location of the spare tire and fuel tank on wagons, and second, the fact that if the tail pipes exit out the back, you can suck exhaust in if you drive with the rear window open. I've used El Camino tail pipes on my Vista Cruiser, which exit just behind the rear wheels.
I suggest using a local shop instead of buying a kit that you would apparently have to modify. I'm sure there's a good shop near Tuttle; if not, you might consider taking your wagon to Lawton for the Coffee and Cars at 38th and Cache on the second Saturday of the month.
Then, after the Coffee and Cars you could take it by The Exhaust Shop at 1018 SE 1st St. (right off of Lee Blvd.) and have them do your exhaust. I had them do the exhaust work on my 71 98 a few years ago. They had GREAT customer service and a good price too. Plus, if you have a shop do your work they can put whatever kind of muffler you want on it.

The fundamental problem with shop-bent pipes is that they will not be mandrel bent. I'm currently fabricating tail pipes for my 67 Delta from mandrel bends. Of course, I enjoy doing stuff like this. And yes, that extra weld on the bend is a screw up. Be gentle.
Thanks guys. I didn't think about the El Camino pipes. This isn't a performance car so the crush bent should be ok and the price of DIY for this project doesn't make sense. But for the 442 it will make sense.
I had Classic Exhaust in Ohio bend my stainless system for my '70 Cutlass Cruiser.. I was not dissapointed with the bends and was impressed with the quality of his in house fabricated mufflers. He also does aluminized.
