Could I have more news of this car, my favorite of all the Oldsmobile, this car is a dream since childhood and I hope that one day be able to buy one.
I'd like to know what prices are but to be restored.
what value does this template when finished, and all I know.

Very handsome cars indeed and they typify the fifties in America with chrome and size and excess of fenders and flairs and wings etc...

 

I also knew that it was the most awarded car of the fifties.
I love that car has always fascinated me

 

It was one of the most chromed up car of the 50's, if not of all times. I love this car and would even consider renting garage space to have one. Finding one at a reasonable price, fully restored is the ticket with me. A J2 engine would also be prime.

 

but are to be rebuilt?.

The 58's are nice cars almost as nice as a 57. We have one in our club and it has air bags and laker pipes with a 394 it's one sweet ride.

 

These cars are spectacular, I think that if one day I will use it can have a very little, spend hours caressing it and clean it

I can afford only this, but $ 1500 is a great job rebuilding.

 

This car will require much work and expense, as well as time. But if you are doing the work yourself, it may be quite neneficial. In the link I sent you, I saw a 58 Olds (light blue) that went for $2500 (winning bid) on ebay, and it looked great for the money. But deals like that don't come along too often. I wish I would have seen that one earlier!

I must first finish the Delmont, and after the take, of course it is better to start earlier research also to evaluate the prices.
I think that even the replacement parts are expensive but you can find everythin

I would say that today is still a wonderful feeling to see it even if only by the images of the web, in Italy there are 58 but only two I could see it up close and for me is a dream being able to have, even if it takes more time..

 

Hi, I have owned a matched set of 58's. One convert and one 2 dr hdtp. Last year a guy wanted to buy the hdtp and I priced it to scare him but he didn't scare. Said he would be back with the cash in the am. Now I only have one 58 the convert. Kinda feel bad about letting the hdtp go. They were both VERY popular at all car shows. Won't even put a price on the convert because I DON"T WANT TO LOSE IT.
