So i cant firgure out how to attach a throttle cable from my 4g Rochester to my stock gad pedal assembly in my 53 oldsmobile 88. I bought a cable for a 70 72 cutless:

the easiest way would seem to be to go to the pik-n'-pull and get the gas pedal from a 70-72 Cutlass and put that in your 53. You might have to do a little fabrication to mount the pedal but it shouldn't be too bad. Also pay attention to how the cable is routed in the donor car you get the gas pedal from.

I just bought a 70 72 cutless gas pedal off ebay and my carb at least has the bracket
