1959 Oldsmobile came with electric wipers.
No it will not retrofit to a 1957 easily
1955 to 1958 bowtie electric wipers will retro fit to all 1955 thru 1958 GM with modifications.

I have a 57 electric wiper motor somewhere that I was going to adapt to my 55, but went to the Newport system for ease of the installation and the fact that you are not putting a nearly 70-year-old part back in your car. If you are interested I'll see if I can find it, but the Newport is a better idea...Tedd
