Power Disc Brakes?

Has anyone installed front disc brakes and firewall mounted booster on a 54 55 or 56? If so I would appreciate any help! Thanks

I did it on my 57 Olds. had to remove the drivers side fresh air bump and install a flat steel plate, then used a hanging pedal out of a 1975 Olds 88. Used a dual diaphram 8" booster to clear the engine. Had to heat up and rebend the brake pedal assembly to locate it correctly because it mounts to the left of the steering column. Worked out fine.

Thanks did you add any extra bracing for the hanging pedal or was the steel plate sufficient? I assume it was 3/16 or ?

I used 3/16 steel plate and ran a brace from the hanging assembly to the dash/steering colum bracket area.

You have to go to 15" wheels to fit the calipers. 14" won't clear
