Oldsmobile 394 4 barrel linkage

I will be swapping the 2 barrel intake on my 1963 Oldsmobile 394 to a 4 barrel intake. I know the linkage from the 2 barrel will not fit as there are no spots on the 4 barrel to attach it. Does anyone have a picture of what the factory 4 barrel linkage is supposed to look like? Is it a direct swap with the 2 barrel linkage? My car also has the slim jim behind it so set up is important and I want to get it right.

Thanks!

Below are a couple of illustrations from the Olds parts book.
In these illustrations the six digit part numbers are given.
The first illustration is the two barrel setup, and the second one is four barrel.
The part numbers are the same for most items except for two rods.
Those are the two you must find.
The linkage bellcrank pivots on a stud on the left rear of the four barrel carb.

Thanks. This is very helpful. So it looks like I need to find the 2 rods and a stud for the bell crank to pivot on. Once I have the 4 barrel intake and carb on it will be easier to see what needs to change.

No, all you need are the two rods .
The bellcrank pivots on a stud which is part of the base of the carb.
As shown below, BTW that's a stick shift bellcrank, but you get the idea.

Thanks. I don't have the original carb. I was planning on using an Edelbrock 4 barrel square bore carb I had. Is the OEM a Rochester 4GC? If so, besides Ebay, does anyone have an extra? I can post in the wanted section.

OE was the Rochester 4GC.

I tried to go to an Edelbrock carburetor on my 64 98 but was never able to get the Slim Jim to shift right with it. The car did marginally better with the OE 4GC so I just kept it.

The addition of a 600 Edelbrock is a DOWNGRADE, besides being a nightmare to make it play right with old Jim.
The original 4GC carb flowed 685 CFM.
Here's a link to rebuilding a 4 GC

It's been my experience that all '59 thru '64 four barrel carbs except F-85, will interchange.

I put an OEM four barrel carb on my 2 barrel 394. I put dual exhaust and a pertronix ignition on it at the same time. Honestly, for the "gains" got i would stay w the factory 2bbl and go with true dual exhaust and a better ignition system. My 2 cents.

Well, I've already bought the 4 barrel carb and my car is the high compression engine with dual exhaust. I was having a lot of trouble with the 2 barrel so I'm committed now to make this a 4 barrel. I have everything I need now except the 4GC carb and the 2 linkage rods.
