Learn something new every day.
I didn't know that you could get the deluxe hubcaps on every model in '56.

Sharp dual exhaust outlets. Is that a cut-out bumper?

Interesting that the air-conditioning description extols how all the components are now under the hood, freeing up the entire trunk space - referring back to when some of the A/C components were mounted in the trunk.

My '56 has both the exhaust tips and factory A/C (called CAC)

The exhaust tips are actually ornamental. The exhaust pipes don't go through the them. The bumpers don't have cutouts, just flat spots for the exhaust tips to screw into.

As for the A/C, 1955 was the first year that Olds put all the A/C under the hood.

Those wheel covers were referred to as Starfire Spinners because they came on the 56 Starfire. They were very popular with customizers in the day and widely reproduced. The 54 and 55 used Fiesta Spinners as an option which came on the 53 Fiesta. I have them on my 54. They were very popular with thieves.

I always thought they came on the 53 Fiesta thus the nick name fiesta spinners in later years (could be wrong on this)... Tedd

I have attached a picture of the Fiesta Wheel Cover on my 54. These wheel covers were first used on the 53 Fiesta hence the name. They were an option on the 54 and 55 Olds.

Below is a link to a picture of the 56 Starfire spinner which is identical to the one above.
