I have a 1957 Super 88 Holiday 4 door sedan with a J2 package. Interested in learning more about the car and in interpreting some of the information I have gleaned from the sell bill and car tags.
Can anyone help me: the original sales receipt says "Trim # 379" Can some one decode this and tell me what the interior upholstery color should be??
Additionally what does "Ign #8548" and "Trk #8297" which are also listed on the original sales receipt.
My trim books don't go back that far but others here have them that do. Nice looking 88. A functional J2 is a plus. A lot of them had the outboard carburetors disabled because drivers didn't use them and then when they did, the outboard carbs were gummed up or worse and caused drivability problems.

The Ign #8548 and Trk #8297 are key numbers.
You can have extra keys made using these numbers.
Ign is for Ignition and doors.
Trk is for trunk and glove box.
