Need help identifying hood lip trim, 1954 and 55?

Hi All
While going through the clutter looking for something else I came across these two pieces of trim. I believe the wider one is from a 1955 hood, but am not sure about the narrower one. I'd guess 1954 since those are the two years of parts cars I've had. But don't remember for sure where I got it, so that might not be correct. For those of you who know this vintage please let me know your thoughts. I've taken several photos of each, if you need a photo or measurement not here let me know. Here's the two side by side.
John

Then here's what I think is from a 1955

And the one I'm guessing is 1954

John I believe the narrower one is a 54. I just went out and looked at my car and it looks just like that one and the measurements are the same. I am not sure about the other one. Maybe Tedd will speak up since he has a 55.

I am not sure what the trim is from, but it looks like you are using a 68 or 69 Toro as a background for your photos. Do you happen to have a bumper jack box (cardboard sleeve with Styrofoam insert) for one? Should be the same 68-70. Possibly 67 also.

Not sure, I haven't got the trunk opened on this car yet. I drug it home for parts, the nose had burned when a forest fire got too close. I will keep you in mind when I get it open and see what's there.

Thanks. Is the car a 68 or 69?

The measurements for the big one seem t be the same as my 55- 41 1/4 and I get 3inches from the top of the chrome to the first bend. hope that helps

If that chrome lip is as good as it looks it's worth quit a bit for someone who needs one. In the road salt areas those things rot out quite regularly and they are hard to find.... Tedd

Thank you Tedd! Yes, both of these pieces have minor rust, some damage to repair, but solid pieces.
