Red face L8 257 question

Hi i was wondering if the Oldsmobile straight 8 engine i have in my 1948 98 will work with an Oldsmobile straight 6 piston. Reason being i see a bunch of sets for 6 pistons instead of 8.
Thank You

Sorry, the pistons are not the same size. The 6 cyl pistons are about 1/4 inch larger if I remember correctly.

I checked it out of interest. Looks like the have everything you could need to do a fresh rebuild except I did not see pistons listed.
