oh crap on a stick...

thank God they're not '55's...I could justify it then with all my 'spare' stuff...with '56s I'd be starting at square one. Looks like a pretty fair price - if someone on here buys these keep us posted!!

I'd probably be buying the wife something nice right now to get "the conversation" started if I had the garage space for these...owning a 4-5-or 6 Starfire is on my bucket list

It's not that far from me and I could use the extra leg room in the back seat .Someone could make some serious money on the first two cars unless they are totally rust buckets. Say 25- 30 k to rebuild the convertible, doing a lot of the work your self. Sell whats left of the parts car, flip the convertible for 70k. pocket 40- 50 grand.Somehow this is starting to sound a little like I'm trying to convince my wife ?But one can dream can't one ? Besides a single convertible is enough for anyone anyway .........Not....Tedd

This promise of untold riches by 'flipping' these deals is how I ended up with a garage full of '55s with only one that I can drive...my wife is starting to become wise to my unfulfilled prophecies...DOH!!

I know the feeling, besides I would need to build another garage before I can think of adding another car to the stable. Convertibles will dissolve if left out in the snow and the wife knows this....Tedd
